Leaf Shifter with Zombieverter

I got the Leaf 2017 shifter when i got all of my parts from the wreckers. Has anyone used the shifter with Zombieverter?
Not as far as I am aware, people have been reverse engineering it and some seem to have had it working. So depending on how competent you are with wiring and electronics it is possible.

Note the voltages are 5V and the Zombie requires 12V inputs for direction.
