As I am getting started on my projects, what are some.of the good equipment, other then multimeter, someone needs. I would like to be able to power both the LV and HV side of an inverter to test.

What inverter, what motor, what board/vcu?

A decent power supply that can do 12V at like 5A is a good thing to have.

HV power supply, no point really for spinning a motor.

I’ve got a multimeter and a variable voltage power supply that can go up to 60v. With those two tools you can get a very long way.

Contactors and a precharge resistor, and depending on the wiring situation you might want a bunch of extra pins to populate your connectors for bench testing before doing the final wiring in the car.

Incandescent bulbs or stove heating element for verifying polarity?
