Welding BMW battery boxes!

Curious if anyone has experience welding any of the BMW battery pack aluminium material, and if it welded ok!? Stamped as a 6127 grade which should be ok with 5356 rods. I have a plan

Good news, initial welding tests went well with the 5356 rods
