Hi everyone,
I bought a Dana TM4 kit, but no VCU. I saw Damien spinning the motor over on CAN, however there is no code on github. i tried to write an email, and i got an automated response to go on this forum, so here goes:
Is there any work/interest here on controlling the tm4 inverter? is there any knowledge or resources to share on the topic?

I would integrate it in GEVCU, however without any info it seems a very daunting task, to say the least.

Who did you buy it from. Did you get provided any documentation?
As there are ALOT of variants of TM4 inverters.

I bought it from an auction site in Holland, "Troostwijk". no documentation whatsoever.
as far is i've seen, there's the motive line, for cars, and sumo, for trucks/agricultural type of jobbies. i've got the latter, it's a co300-HV inverter.
in the meantime, i discovered that i need a can tm4 4.0 or later database. the commands mentioned in the available dana documentation make it look like the DBCs are similar. there is a fast message, a slow message and a safety message. addresses seem to line up.
it also supports J1939, however they are using a proprietary PGN, so no dice.
i did connect it to my computer, it sends a 0x61 message.
