Leaf pack with Bolt cells?

Any idea if I can fit 96 Chevy Bolt cells in a 2013 Nissan Leaf pack?
I have a 2012 Leaf 66%soh
And just picked up a 2023 Bolt battery pack with a little exterior damage for $1,500
Any chance these Bolt cells will fit inside the Leaf pack?
And if it does. Will any of these open inverters make it work?

I have no idea about the physical dimensions, that could be the most challenging part.
You'd have to connect the Nissan BMS to the bolt cells. It will misread SoC but at least it is possible to set SoH back to 100%, see Dalas latest video on YT
With that your Nissan would run as is if that is what you wish to do.

Bolt cells are very susceptible to temperature control. As far as i know Leaf doesnt have any heater or chiller inside. Could be very dangerous when fast charging...

Arber wasn't this an issue only with newer cars? The ones with new 221 chemistry with less of lithium or something like that?

The three numbers, 211, references the amount of nickel, magnesium, and colbalt ratio.
From my memory the issues with the bolt cells was todo with the electrode tabs getting caught/ folded during the cell pouch sealing process. Resulting in a higher possibility of shorts.
Also the leaf bms would need its capacity and SOH reset. The car won’t properly calculate range. you’ll be artificially limited.

Hi, i missed that post...
Yes the low Cadmium content in newer cells (Chevy Bolt, Hyundai, Kia...) makes them a lot more susceptible to fast charging than older NMC technology. You need to use more complex temperature management efforts to keep the cells happy orelse they will selfdestruct!
I have seen firsthand when one LIion cell from Jaguar IPACE pack died of temp exhaustion in my Pug. BMS registered a drop as the other cell in parallell was forced to absorbe the load. It happened just before MOL charging station outside Zagreb and i carefully drove the car to the charging station. When i plugged it in and observed charging again that cell pair would raise voltage immediately to higher dV than rest.
Also that bundle of cells was much hotter than the rest!
My solution on the spot was to bypass that bundle of 8S2P cells and drive home with rest of 88S2P pack. I also took off every cover off the battery box to let them cool off better.
It worked at the time but let me tell youm, i drove home really carefully as in 100km/h on the highway just above truck driver speed...
