So I had an idea, not sure if it's any good, but I want to compile a list of automotive events that Open Inverter members and/or cars will be attending, so hopefully more of us can meet in person. I will update this first post as a master list, but please reply with events you plan to be at and/or bring a car to - I'm thinking this should be limited to events bigger than your local cars + coffee, i.e. the type of events people might travel to. Please include what car you're bringing (if any) and how you'll be participating if applicable (i.e. spectating, showing a car, racing, etc) and location. I'll start:

Maybe in the UK we should attend one of the fully charged events again? There is also The Battery Show.

Not certain my car will be eligible though, since Hillclimb rules are different to autocross. Need to dig into that before making a final decision.

These days it might undermine FC’s remit to get EVs into the mainstream via people buying official OEM electric cars, but if they’re interested in a novelty item, I’ll be up for it - by summer anyway, when hopefully I have something to drive!

Well I'm now confirmed for HRM Drag Week this fall (entry was this morning).

My friend with a DC powered El Camino is on the waitlist (but almost certain to be there). He and I will face off at Sick Summer in what I believe will be the first instance of EV conversions going head to head in a Drag and Drive event, fighting for the Sick Freaks class win and Quickest EV title. If he gets into Drag Week too, we'll have a rematch in HRMDW's Street Machine Eliminator class.
