Yes will certainly do fresh update of ESP module firmware and SPIFFS.

Your case was similar to mine a year ago. It also locked up Olimex and i had to upload firmware through ST-link. ESP and spiffs were one of the first i got from Johannes. Not updated.

Since you have your custom board, maybe you have something similar to Damien's issue with Tesla board.

Thank you, Have got the board reflashed with ST-link, and it's working again.
I will remove the resistor anyway.
Have followed the olimex setup with 10k/0.1uF reset, have this issue come up with the olimex boards to?
Have updated the ESP module and u/l new SPIFFS.
I'm not able to get the same error, have tried several times.
So this fault seems to be to old inverter firmware.
