How this works

Post by johu »

As suggested here this forum is meant for active developers to ask the community for help.
Therefor, only moderators and administrators can start new threads here. If you consider yourself a developer and can't create a thread here, let me know.

Everyone else is allowed to post here.

So this is the process:
  1. developer posts question/task, e.g. "Create a wiring diagram for Tesla LDU"
  2. Community members can now post helpful stuff, write up text and images/diagrams
  3. Once complete/approved by developer, the info gets compiled into a wiki page and is linked in the first post
Update: Member "bulletbug" will moderate the topics so they stay on track - much appreciated!

Hi yaroslav,

this section is meant for developers to ask the community for help.
I have started a new discussion here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=589

Can I suggest this section is split/spun out and sits at the top of the forum board index? Above Hardware?

Not sure what the page views are but personally, I settle on the board index and look over the unread threads. This section sits almost at the bottom, but would perhaps benefit from sitting at the top instead?

One to catch developers eyes, but also other community members and remind them it's a community effort.

Two as a place to ask non-developers say, to potentially test out parameters and such?

Just a thought.
