I've just been to collect a bunch of parts from someone who has had to stop working on their project. The parts they were using were donated to them so they're happy to donate them on to someone else who will put them to good use. That means a running project, not just sticking them on eBay.

If they don't go, I will probably sell them off and give the proceeds to charity. (Unless I suddenly find loads of time and space and money (fat chance) in which case, this is project number three).

But if you are looking to build your own EV and can come and collect these parts then it's all there. I'm based in South Manchester.

Includes:

• Prius Gen 2 motor and drive shafts ( I'll photograph the motor when it stops pouring with rain)

• Prius Gen 2 inverter

• Zafira power steering pump

• 2x UP38-style vacuum pumps

• BMW S-Box (all your contactors & pre-charge)

• BMW throttle pedal

• OI board in case (I believe)

• What looks to be a wiring loom

• 12v water heater

• Sundry circuit boards (maybe a current sensor?)

Perfect for a FWD swap for someone. I've not tested any of it but comes from a good home. Should be just a case of adding batteries to complete the project, though we all know it's rarely that simple!

A vey generous offer. I've PM'd you, I'd love to have these but I'm sure they'll go to a good home somewhere.

Would I be right in thinking that this would not be of any use for converting a rear wheel drive van?
