Would taking an already hybrid car and converting it to an EV, be the simplist conversion of all ?

Maybe upgrade the battery pack etc.

or can those kinds of conversions have there own issues.

Even tho looking over the posts locking the transmission on a lexus / leaf drivetrain and attaching it to a normal RWD car can be straighforward as well, when it all goes well.

Not u less you want to reverse engineer everything or have some good intel on all the existing Comms. You take away the mechanical elements but have possibly more software stuff.
