Outlander inverter with I-MiEV motor?

I found an I-MiEV motor for cheap, and it doesn't look like there's much support for the I-MiEV here.
Should the Outlander inverter work?

As far as I know, the i-miev motor is the same as the rear traction motor from the GG2W model outlander. There is an additional parking brake thingy on there that the Outlander doesnt have, but in terms of actually running the motor I suspect it would be exactly the same.
