As said in the Touran thread 8 auf those 12S modules would make a perfect fit to the fuel tank space.

It is possible to obtain only the modules for like 900-1000€ a piece which is 135€/kWh. I know complete packs sometimes go for under 6000€ so that is more what I'm after. I'd prefer the entire unopened battery vs. just the modules because that gives me all connectors and BMS modules.

Marty has been trying very hard to ship one across the channel but that seems very hard. So preferably it should reside in mainland Europe.

I have mailed various scrap yards in Norway as well.

Sooner or later I also will need such a pack , maybe with 12 8s modules. I still need to determine size and weight .

However maybe we can team up, to bring the packs from UK to Germany. Feel free to PM me.

There is some customs tax to be dealt with on the EU border unless you install the battery in Norway directly .

Make sure to note that you need to pay VAT for items purchased from Norway. Unless you manage to file it as company expenses, of course.

You can contact these guys, they run a van like once a month between UK and Estonia. On the way they make stops in DE as well. They have transported a few pallets of lithium batteries for me. Somewhat unorganized at times but have gotten things done.

Anyway, I took reception of my battery yesterday so for now that's that. I'm sure the next project won't be long though
