Contactor ratings

i am using ev200 contactors on my main battery feed and all is ok. Now i am ready to install another battery pack and tidying up the install.

As i have a couple of ev100 contactors in the parts bin, could i use these on the precharge circuit, and keep the ev200s for postive and negative. I assume the precharge resistor is limiting the inrush to well under the ev100 rating ?

Ev100 could also be used for fast charging or switching hv heater on/off but OBS the 100 would mean the continuous current rating. Using it for precharge you could get away with forgoing the economiser as it should hopefully not get too hot 😝
Edit Voltage = current X resistance & power = voltage X current
