Building in progress on a sdu tesla and logicboard openinverter I’m wondering
Is there a difference between v7 and v8 logic board for a sdu tesla?
Can we apply last rev of the soft for example release v5.27.R on a v7
Globally is it recommended to apply last rev on these boards?

The only difference is the esp32 intead of the esp8266 wifi board and pull down resistors for the gate signal driver.
All boards can run any version of the software.
