Upgrade Volvo V50 with Brain Board

Hello,
I am working on my broken 2011 Volvo V50. This car is converted by All Green Vehicle in The Netherlands. They used an Magtec motor and inverter, these are also used for Ford transit conversions. The system does not work anymore and the software for these are not available and Magtec won't give any information.
So my plan is to replace the Brains for the Openinverter Brain Board.
So far i have the headers soldered on and the first wires connected.
For now I have an few questions, maybe somebody can help me out.
1) The webinterface of the inverter keeps on locking up. Then I reboot the Brain and then I can acces it for an while and than it locks up. When I refresh it won't give the values anymore. Does anyone know why this happens? I have 12v, GND, throttle, Forward, reverse, brake and start connected.
2) I want to use the original Skyper32 IGBT drivers. According to the datasheet I found, it needs stabilized 15V +-4%. The Brain gives 5V. Can I use an step up converter between the Brain and Skyper32?
When I am a bit further in the proces I will make an topic in the project section with some more information and images.
Thanks
