How to remove Telsa LDU End Plate?  [SOLVED]

I recently purchased a Tesla LDU and ran Damien's basic inverter tests and am now inspecting the rotor and stator to ensure it looks viable before I invest further $$ in the OpenInverter board.

I am trying to get the end plate off, but man,. It doesnt seem like there is any good way to do it. There isnt much to pry on, and theres no bolt holes to pull on either.
I have seen some videos of guys using a bottle jack in an awkward setup, and others just hammering with a chisel. Before I go the chisel route, is there a better way to go about it?

Thanks!

Thanks!

How many do you reccomend using? Just 2? Or every bolt hole at once?

Is there any concern that this method could affect the alignment in any way? Or does the end plate have alignment dowels of some kind?

Three is good. The end plate has a recess for centering.

Thanks again! That worked like a charm!

I threaded the 2 motor mount holes and then the 1 on the opposite side for the 3rd bolt. I then just used a chisel to hammer on the head of the 3rd bolt.
