With all the recent work that’s being done on the FOC method of control, has anyone here started to look at using this over the sine control on Tesla LDUs?

Damien tried, and, as expected, the motor did not move.
I'll finish off the synchronous FOC for now, lets see if I have any energy left to continue with async drives.

Hi
I have the ifoc algorithm running in a numeric simulation of an induction motor. I guess that to work in real what is needed is the motor Resistances and Inductances, adapt it to Johannes board, it need read currents, Vdc, rotor speed, and throttle (set by speed, can be set by torque). Maybe it's needed read also the phase voltages if the estimation of these done by software don't work (these voltages are needed to estimate rotor time constant variations with temperature). PI's controllers values can be set by trying in the simulation. The simulation also includes a vehicle load, etc
