Zombieverter V2.0 throttle calibration

It seems as if throttle calibration in the new V2.0 firmware has reverted back to how it was prior to the V1.06A update, so just checking if anyone has noticed this or if I've misinterpreted it.
In V1.06 to V1.11 I had potmin and pot2min set just below the corresponding off throttle spot values with no issues (as per forum and wiki). After updating to V2.0 firmware, I couldn't get a start and noticed a 'potpressed' error. I had to set potmin and pot2min just above the corresponding off throttle values for the error to go away and the VCU to start pre-charge adn run the motors. This seems to me to be how the early firmware versions worked?
And wondering if the throttle monitoring fixes since V1.06 might be missing now?
