question about bidir pedal control

hello, people! I have such a question, in the case of using bidir mode, is it possible to hold the hill in both directions or not?

also, do I understand correctly that the average value of the throttle should output 1.65 volts, the maximum forward 3.3 volts, and the maximum backward 0 volts?

Not tested, but in theory it should do just that.

No, calibration as always, midpoint is 0 throttle

strange. I connected a 5kohm variable resistor and the motor stands still when the middle position. I connected a voltmeter and yes, the voltage of the middle is 1.65 ! and a full 0 volt output (leftmost position) gives the maximum motor speed in the opposite direction

One more question in this direction. How do I enable the rotation speed control option, not the power? (this is important to me for use in a houseboat)

whatever experiments I did with the settings, I could not find the inclusion of this option.

Ah it's in cruisemode=ThrottlePot

alas! if you make such a setup there, then the set of revolutions occurs in spurts. for example, I add a pedal by 15%, but instead of smooth operation, acceleration-brake-acceleration-brake is constant for two seconds each action. in any direction of rotation.

Cruise control does not work well with an unloaded motor. You can try lowering speedflt to 0

Throttle speed mode, throttle sets speed rather than torque (also for boats)

this part of the description interests me))

bidir mode works fine.
but he controls the moment. it is not very convenient for rotating the propeller under water.
the described ability to control the number of revolutions of the motor instead of the torque would be ideal.

but how to turn it on?

cruise control = speed control ;)
For a propeller it does work with speedflt=0 and speedkp=0.1, tested before on a boat.

wow! I'm going to check again :D

it worked at speedkp 0.02 !
almost without hesitation.
Sorry, that cruise control stops working in this mode and it is necessary to make a control handle with a rigid fixation.
However, thanks anyway!

the following tests with higher voltage and already on the water!
I hope the house will float soon

thanks again for the help with the settings. everything works fine!
