Have fun! No idea if this would be of any use. But potentially a cheap way to acquire some cheap batteries.
Prototypes and drivetrains are very cool as well.

Partly they did.
On of the issues with these auctions is that you can also bid on assemblies of auctions...

Regarding Lightyear company!

The operating company of Lightyear was declared bankrupt in January. Today, the parent company of Lightyear, Atlas Technologies Holding, followed suit. This step was necessary to complete the restructuring of Lightyear as a new company. The IP and the team of the solar panel division, a subsidiary of the Holding, will become part of this new company.
