Has anyone timed 0-60 runs using the GS450h transmission and inverter? I've just started test driving my build and I think I'm coming in around 7 seconds. Very unofficial, on new tires and Tesla batteries out of a Mercedes B250e. Also, I'm not using low gear at all at this point, only driving in high. I'm not shooting for a race car, and it's already MUCH quicker than this car was originally (1964 Rambler Classic with in-line 6 and 3spd auto), but I'm just curious what others are seeing.
You really should create a build thread and link the photos there... the car is really beautifully done!

Beautiful car, absolutely deserves a build thread in projects!

What an awesome project - and what a transformation. Some serious hard work/skill there.
Do you know what the new weight is?
'google' says the Rambler was about - 2755 lbs | 1249.647 kg? - 'guessing' your new weight would be around 1400kg with driver and full tank of electrons?
this 0-60 calculator says you need around 170bhp to just dip below 7 seconds. https://www.omnicalculator.com/everyday ... calculator

I have not weighed it yet, but your guess is right about where I was thinking it should end up. Even though it only had an inline 6, those old cast iron blocks were heavy.

I had forgotten about this, but someone posted the video in another thread... for comparative sake:

I think this guy used a higher voltage pack for even better performance:

I had forgotten that one as well. His car is much smoother than mine. I need to work on the rear axle I installed. My esti-counting seems to confirm around 7 seconds for me as well.

As a Foxbody Mustang owner, I recognized your rear suspension design from a mile away! If you are using the mounts in the stock Ford location, maybe you could bolt in a '99-'04 Cobra IRS.
