The plate arrived today https://oshwlab.com/aot93/mini-e-t4-vcu_copy. I assembled it so there is already a whole set for trials and tests in the workshop

I've already collected the rest of the Outlander stuff

Time to start testing. If everything fires up, I'm getting ready to install it in the car

I prepared the pinout in the mini-e VCU board described here
viewtopic.php?t=2167
maybe it will be useful to someone, I'm just asking someone who has experience with this board to check if I made a mistake.

Due to the weather, the work is progressing very slowly, I try to do something, but only when I have free time or when it rains or snows. Let this spring come

Tomorrow I start work on connecting the engine to the gearbox using elements taken from the outlander differential and the peugeot clutch plate.

I finally decided to use a Toyota inverter. The engine is already spinning, responding to gas thanks to the help of Pete9008. I uploaded the settings from the college Bigpie viewtopic.php?p=53764#p53764. The engine started spinning, but I have a problem because after exceeding a certain level of the gas pedal, the engine spins up to gigantic revolutions and does not want to stop after releasing the gas pedal. Only turning off the 12v power helps. Maybe someone knows what could be causing this behavior?

Sounds like your syncofs value might not be tuned for your motor. Have you been through this process https://openinverter.org/wiki/Using_FOC_Software

With the latest firmware you do need to be very careful about spinning an unloaded/unbraked motor as if the settings are not right it can run away.

Edit - thinking a little more, even with perfectly adjusted parameters I would still avoid spinning an unloaded/unbraked motor too quickly and definately not go past base frequency.

I'd strongly suggest that, even after checking the syncoff, you still keep the speed of the motor down until you have some means of mechanically slowing it (ideally with it coupled to the gearbox with the car brakes available).

Even with everything set up perfectly there is still a chance of uncontrolled acceleration (as it doesn't take much to quickly accelerate an unloaded motor).

It might also be worth dropping fwcurmax to a much lower value for now (or even 0) to prevent the motor from accidentally going into the field weakening region when testing.
