Thanks for the photos but I can't help noticing my duck taped aberration is highlighted in several of them!!!

Maybe if I get myself going I could have the Freelander there next time. :)

a Super gig all round, and many thanks to the Tog Hackerspace guys.
Last, but not least, hope the Red Arrow is on it's way home with a brand new NCT. Keep away from the Champers until you are home.

Regards to everyone
Stephen
Thanks Stephen. Unfortunately the Red Arrow didn't pass the NCT and the fail list is quite long and I'm not equipped to tackle it. So it's the end of the road for me. I've put up the Brusa charger and the BMW battery pack that I both recently bought up for sale on the forum.

The good news is though that the Red Arrow shall be returning to its maker Damien in the next few weeks!

Hi all

Do you have any idea when will be the next meetup in Ireland? or training?

I'm living in Ireland and want to participate in a EV conversion.

Thank you for your comments in advance.

Hi

This is very sad. I hope you can sell the parts asap.

Can you please share the details of the parts with me? I want to convert a Classic Mini to EV but not sure if those parts can help me.

Thank you for your comments.

Hi, sure.

The parts I have for sale are the battery pack, which is basically from a 2019 BMW 530e, a bit over 9kWh in 6 blocks. BMW uses the 6 blocks all in series for just under 400V fully charged, I used them 3 in series and 2 in parallel for just under 200V

And the Brusa on board charger, this is a fully programmable 3.3kW charger that can charge batteries with a voltage between 120V and 520V. The charger is air cooled, so doesn't need watercooling. It can also be operated without having to use CAN, so it is perfect for beginners (like me)

I have them for sale here:

Hi Jose,
the next one will be on Saturday 26th August, likely a little later and probably with barbeque :).
Can you add your location to your profile?

Sorry guys I won't be able to bring my state of the art eBike this time. :(

I'll be at the start of a circuit of Ireland on that Sunday but wishing you all a great time.

I might try to do even better and bring the rolling chassis with the gearbox mounted in it. :)
