Performance of gen 2/3 prius motor inverter

Hi, I'm new here. I come from a performance background. 5-600hp turbo charged engines with aftermarket ecus.
My wife has a gen2 prius, and one of my customers want to convert a mini cooper to ev.
My questions are,
1. How much output power and speed do we get from mg1 and mg2 when we weld them together? Assuming all other factors are optimal, Temps and voltage.
2. If I was to throw the wifes gen2 battery in the bin and replace with lithium type pack. Can we get the hybrid system to still work with the gen2 inverter controller?
Starting the engine, regen and full power with the ice and electric motor working together?
