Dual throttle setup

Johannes I have tried to use my Prius throttle as a dual throttle. But all i got was error. Can you explain how this works?

I have two signals A and B
When hrottle is released:
A = 910
B= 1820

When throttle is some 1/2 depressed
A = 2500
B = 3600
Signal B reaches 4090 when pedal is somewhat 70% depressed, signal A is still at 3500pts.

How do i get this to work? Do i switch throttles? Or do i put resistors in to lower the B voltage response?

tnx

Hm...
Yesterday i wired both throttle signals on Prius pedal together. I am using the 2nd output since its range is from 0.7V to 3.7V. The other one is from 1.8V to 4.8V.
Dual throttle was not a success for me innitially. So i returned software to single signal throttle. Wiring stayed the same though.
And surprise, though i am not able to change regen magnitude from whatever is set into parameters the feel while driving was very good. Much less vibration in regen. Today i drove to work in highway traffic and some city traffic and regen was surprisingly gentle.
Of course there were some vibrations in 2nd gear which i feel it has the most play and i see that ERR LED is faintly lit when i release throttle. Must be some GND loop in the wiring.

For the return drive i will save a plot of both throttle signals in city driving.

Interesting...
Yes I think you need to divide down throttle. Maybe you can change the on-board 10k resistors to a lower value and see what happens (the ones that pull throttle to GND). 4090 is about the maximum ADC value (4095).

I will just try to solder another 10K in paralell so i wont have to unsolder anything... that board is like 3 years old. Still going strong though.

Yes or otherwise put 10k in series with your throttle, will act as a divider

Ah! That is even better thanks.
