I purchased all 4 modules from a Model 3 pack in 2019 for my build. Considering the quality and energy/weight ratio of these batteries, I figured that open source BMS solutions would be right around the corner... bad assumption. Years later I'm nearly ready to start doing wiring and it seems like the two main options I have at this point are:
1) use an Orion BMS with lots of soldering directly to each module's cell taps
2) get the rest of the Model 3 pack (the penthouse) and repackage it for my build.
So I figured I would check and see: does anyone here have the penthouse hardware they are willing to part with? Or other ideas/suggestions?
