Can you provide links to the shielded/twisted pair cabling you used for comms and resolver connections? Amazon gives plenty of results, but would be helpful to know what you used and/or recommend.
Sorry I don't have any links to the wire I used.
I "borrowed" some wire from work for my temp setup. 8-)

From my experience you don't want to use anything bigger than 20AWG

here are a couple pictures.
the wire on the roll worked well, but it single conductor and non-shielded.
the wire in the box is single pair shield. worked OK, but 20AWG would be better.
Both worked well in the resolver and MOLEX connectors

Resolver Connectors
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3295602 ... 4c4dj8NhvP

I personally bought these.
Seems to be a "good enough" quality
Came with weather seal grommets and crimps.
Crimps need to be attached to wire.
Min. order was 4
Took about 30days delivery to Toronto.
I'll figure this out sooner or later

Crimping Tool

I bought one.
Did the job. I'm sure there are better ones out there.
Again took roughly 30days to arrive.

What are the correct connectors for the oil pump / oil pump controller which are needed, i believe i have the first one on the wiki page (the 2 way) but the second one (7-way) doesnt have a part number listed

edit: found it: 90980-12483 but does anyone have a uk or Europe based source of them?

I haven't found a UK or EU source yet, breakers seem to be our only option.

streber wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2020 8:28 pm Does anyone know the part numbers for the harnesses that plug into the transmission and inverter?

I've figured out:
8216430040 is the harness from the battery to the inverter and is the two smaller white connectors.
8211130* appears to be the main engine harness and I think contains the connectors from the EV ECU and the Inverter (big plug), but can't confirm that or exactly which variant if it matters.
8212130D10 appears to be the ICE harness and does not appear to be the right one.

No clue for the rest of the transmission, although those seem much easier to replicate than the shielded stuff in the EV ECU <-> Inverter connection.
FWIW I figured out that 82111-30* (at least the RHD LS600h one I bought) does contain the inverter plug and the connector and relay for the oil pump. I also learned that despite the wiring diagrams saying the inverter for the LS600h and GS450h share a pinout, they don't. I was able to repin the plug and get it to work. It does not contain the transmission connectors, but it appears the 82121 one from that car does (but didn't buy it so not 100% sure).
Does this look right to you? The engine bay harness with all of the fuse box and relays attached to it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-Lexus-GS ... 3681693237

So I bought the 82121-30D10 engine wire harness from the GS450h, which does have all of the transmission connectors (but not the oil pump). The two resolvers go out to two additional connectors rather than straight to the inverter plug, and the inverter plug doesn’t appear to be part of this harness. Is this normal? Do I need both the engine harness and the engine bay harness?

I had some issues with my motor and inverter connection. As we are sourcing second hand part's, now after many hours spend on the problem I know that it is possible to connect the RHD inverter to LHD gearbox. All you need is two orange HV 3 phase cables from RHD gearbox and the resolvers need to be swaped: mg1 to mg2 and mg2 to mg1

M at the beginning is for the MG2 resolver
G at the beginning is for the MG1 resolver

SN is for sine
CS is for cosine
RF is for resolver frequency (I think), meaning the excitation frequency which comes from the inverter/converter.
G at the end are the respective grounds

A good description of the operation of the resolvers is here https://www.lexunx.com/rear_motor_resol ... -1370.html

I hope this helps.

Pins 4 & 8 are MMTG & MMT respectively for MG2 (or GMTG & GMT respectively for MG1) which are for temperature sensing by
the Zombieverter board, and I guess also the GS450h VCU.

For the Position Sensor, the wiki isn't clear.
SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR Connector.png
Below is my assumptions:
B+ -> 12V
D -> Zombie Forward
R -> Zombie Reverse
N -> Not Connected
MJ -> Not Connected
FD -> Not Connected
B -> Not Connected
RV -> Not Connected
P -> HSDN pin on Inverter

Is this correct?

EDIT Found this on the zombie page https://openinverter.org/wiki/images/9/ ... con-et.png was looking on the GS450h page :D

Anyone know why there is two wire for SP on the solenoid connector on this diagram? Mine only has the one on the right hand side of this attached...

It's shown on the wiring diagrams from Toyota. Both sides of this solenoid are exposed in the connector. Probably to reduce interference as this is PWM controlled.
