Has anyone looked into this beauty?

Just been looking at options for Toyota inverters and NX300H wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_NX indicates the rear motor is only 50kW (the front being 105kW).

Aaah, may be so, explains the lack of cooling, maybe you kan make a bit more power with oil cooling then.Pete9008 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 1:40 pm Just been looking at options for Toyota inverters and NX300H wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_NX indicates the rear motor is only 50kW (the front being 105kW).

Shame though as it's a nice compact unit. The trouble with the cooling the oil is that it's the motor that really needs cooling the oil would only cool the gearbox.

There have been a couple of threads trying to get the earlier version of this Q211 to work and looks like they all have pretty much failed.
I think here viewtopic.php?t=1683 and here viewtopic.php?p=27545
Also I believe the later generations actually reduced power ratings instead of increasing. But the motors might be different enough for new exploration.

Yeah, I gues the oil would cool the casing where the windings are screwed, but question is if it does any difference...
