I have a GS450h, inverter and zombieverter all working off a bench power supply. As the development of opensource/hacked versions of drive train components progresses faster than I can watch the videos, I need some guidance as to what hardware you'd suggest/have working/preferred choice for the following:-
Battery - Leaf/530e or what?
Charger - Tesla/Leaf or what?
DC/DC - What do you suggest?
BMS - SimpBMS or OEM?
My original plan was to fit this into a TVR S1.... but the drivetrain doesn't fit in the transmission tunnel, so I'll probably go the 3 series touring route.
The purpose of the car is a general runabout/workhorse with 100mile range.
Thanks in advance

Re: Request for advice
It all depends on budget and other choices I would start with battery size for the range don't forget the room in the vehicle.
100mile would be like 40kwh? You can charge that in like 11hours with a Chevrolet charger or 4 hours with a 3phase Tesla.
The DC/DC i went for is Chevrolet it had plenty of power.
