How to attach an image to your post?

Am I missing something (probably!)?
Is there a better way to upload images to posts? At the moment i'm having to save the image to my PC, then upload it to an image hosting site 'flikr' in my case and then copy the BBCode, which while it works is a bit janky.
Most other images I see on here seem like they are more embedded in the forum.
On another forum i'm on I can just screen snip the image - and paste it in the post and it's so simple/quick.

Is it down to the "If the administrator has allowed attachments"? comment from the FAQ's.

Can I post images?
Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board. Otherwise, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.

Edit:
Answered my own post :)
I've found the 'Attachments' tab at the bottom, to upload images.
Still have to save the image first. Would be great if you could just: snip, copy, past.

Yes sir. Trying it with a random screenshot.
Hitting "paste" will attach it as a file and put it inline
