Volt gen 2 and Tesla gen 2 charger (OBC) weight

Post by mealborn »

Hi all,
Trying to choose between these two on-board chargers and would like to know which one weighs less. I need to know the weight of the Volt gen 2 charger and the Tesla Gen 2 charger. I've seen 33 lbs listed for the Tesla charger but I don't know if that's for multiple modules or just one.

Thanks for your help! :)

The volt charger is smaller and lighter. But dosent provide the same amount of energy.

From my memory the volt is a 3.3kw charger and the Tesla is a 10kw charger
