in my project it is time now to connect the throttle to the openinverter v2 board i bought to johannes.
in the throttle side, 2 groups of 3 pin : (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=335)
Pin 6 - Wiper 1
Pin 5 - Ground
Pin 4 - 5v +
but in the motherboard side it is not clear to me.
I have this wiring schema
https://openinverter.org/wiki/File:Wiring.png
to use position 4,6,10 on motherboard. i imagine pin6(wiper1) goes to position 6 in motherboard,
but in this other image the position 4 and 10 are marked as ENC_Z and OUT_brake ... so, wiring schema is wrong ? just connect pin 4 and 5 from throttle to 5v+ and ground in the motherboard ?
also would like a explanation if i can get variable regen signal to the pin 8 in the motherboard from the second group of 3 pin in the throttle or how the regen is normally solved and what hardware is needed.
thanks

Re: help: throttle toyota connection to openinverter v2 board
yes, that wiring is a bit strange indeed. Position 6 is correct, the other ones need to be GND and 5V. Pin 4 for 5V would work when using an AB encoder as ENC_Z is pulled up to 5V with 500 Ohm. Now just need to find a GND connection.
To Pin 8 you can hook up another pot and calibrate it (pot2, pot2min/max). It will scale brkmax and brknompedal from 0-100%. You can install it as a normal turn-pot in the drivers reach to adjust regen force.
