Sevcon Gen4 CAN protocols

I need to read data from a Sevcon Gen4 to display on a dash. Initially speed, but ideally other data too. I understand that this device supports CANopen but may also have a simpler proprietary CAN protocol.
So far I haven't been able to find any documentation on either of these protocols. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of how to get data from these inverters? Thanks!
