GM eAssist Motor Controller

I hope this is the correct place to post this question. Please let me know if it's not. I'm considering using an eAssist motor/generator from a GM vehicle in a motorcycle application. Before I explore the Curtis/Sevcon/other manufactures route, are there other controller options out there in the DIY world?
The m/g is an 8 pole ACIM set-up in an ~115VDC system with a stock rating of ~15kW. Here's a thread from a couple of years ago on endless sphere where this topic was discussed:https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 30&t=85514

If its an ACIM you can use V2 or V3 hardware.

Thank you for your response. Being a 8 pole motor, that I would like to run at 8-10k RPM, does this controller have a high enough stator frequency limit (~600-700Hz)?

Yes, there is am arbitrary limit of 1000Hz but even that could be raised

Hi Eflyers! Keep me posted on your project. I'm planning to use the same motor, as the basis of an electric motorcycle.

Hi all, do you guys have any update on this? I managed to get my hands on shop manual and below are the pinouts from the battery back. Ignore my notes on it, but it looks like it needs canbus from BCM and canbus expension bus from engine ECU. If anyone have any more info please let me know
