Hello,
I would like to show you my hybrid conversion of VW Passat 1.9TDI B5.5.

180S2P A123 LiFePo4, Siemens S210 400V inverter.

Guys, would like to ask you how to pass it thru TUV in Germany.

All components I am using have its EMC tests, etc.

Any possible info, who should I contact, what to say, how is the cert. process going would be welcome!

Thanks

The leaflet MB_FZMO_764 is decisive for the conversion. You can buy it from tüv. I got it.

Hello,
many thanks for the first info ever I have about the certification!
It helps me to kick-off.
So, I will have it with respect with this norm (I was respecting some EHK norm about this during building).
What to do then?

BTW Yeah its mining rig.
The servo has 44Nm * 3.8 (differential gear ratio), 3.5kW I am not sure how much exactly.
It is impossible to run on it only, but as a hybrid it is amazing.

A quick question. TUV estimated approoval process cost is > 10 000Eur - is it real?! Or they simply does not want to do it, so they try to overestimate the cost?

Yes, that's what clueless tüv engineers do, unfortunately. I payed 500€. Here is more info: https://openinverter.org/wiki/Germany
