Development Help Require Mitsubishi Outlander Rear Motor and Inverter

Post by tom91 »

As you all might have been aware I am working on developing a next version of my SimpBMS viewtopic.php?f=13&t=131. The new version will feature the SimpBMS as a base but will have a multitude of more features with the intent to allow it to control various drivetrains over CAN.

For this reason I am looking for:
  • A vehicle or project utilizing the Mitsubishi Outlander Rear Motor and Inverter.
Based nearbish to Bristol United Kingdom (I am willing to travel)
Willing to let me develop and prove code on their project/vehicle
Is close to finished and working
Nice to haves:
  • Battery System compatible with the SimpBMS code
If you or anyone you know has a vehicle or project and is willing to help me out it would be greatly appreciated if you get in touch.

What I will do in return:
  • Provide Code to drive Mitsubishi Outlander Inverters and Motors (the relevant sections of my code)
Develop and Provide Code to do regen and dynamic pedal
Provide Development/Prototype hardware to Vehicle and will remain on vehicle
Provide assistance in getting project running and driving (within limits ofcourse)

I wish i was further along in my conversion, as you know im local tom. Ive been speaking to aot93 and he is really advanced in his conversion using all the outlander kit.
If you want a mounted motor in a subframe i can drop my one over to you? Ive got an inverter and dcdc too plus most of the wiring harness.

Spinning motors is something I have done before, so now focus is more on a complete vehicle and the ability to set it up properly.

So really only interested in vehicles/projects nearing completion.

I'm working on some classes for the VCU development and i would be interested in developing a class for the outlander front inverter and the outlander rear inverter. I'm currently finishing off the outlander charger class. These classes can be mixed and matched depending on the vehicle etc....
