Inexpensive ACIM or IPM motor for testing

I'm looking for a small motor I can test my Volt / Ampera inverter with before purchasing the expensive motor, so I know I've got working components here... I just bought the battery cable so I can connect it up and actually give this thing a whirl.
Thoughts? Trying not to spend too much.

An alternator will do the trick if you've got one around, just feed 6v to the coil. No position feedback of course, but it works well in manual mode.

Hah! I can assure you whatever motor you decide on will be good enough for testing also. And Volt inverter is very good for cheap testing because it has such wide operating voltage band. Its drivers power supply work from 48Vdc up to 420Vdc you just supply 5V to its brain.
Once you decide on which motor you want to use you can just buy it and use it since motors dont care about what voltage or inverter you use. Of course within sane limits...
If you want another small project you can decide on ACIM motor - Buick Lacrosse e-assist motor 24261691

Or you can choose Kia/Hyundai HSG motor which is PMSM 37390-03900
I am still working to make that one run... i dont see any problems besides that it uses up to 120Vdc and i want to use it with 360Vdc
Both motors are liquid cooled and come with resolver and are great for a small project like a motorcycle or 3wheeler.

Small 3-phase industrial motor. Those are also available with small wattage?

The question also depends on which tension levels you wanna feed it...
