Hi,
I've been reading through the various posts regarding the revisions of chargers to avoid if opting to use open-inverter controller cards etc, however some advert listings have thrown another variable into the mix by explicitly labeling some devices as 'NOT slave' or 'Slave' etc.
Would anybody be able to shed some light on what this may be referring to ?
Thanks
Rob

In some model s/x there would be 2 Gen2 chargers present. one would run as a master, the other as a slave. Tesla supper chargers are also just a series of gen2 chargers linkd together. One running as the master, rest as slaves.
from my understanding, the master/slave designation doesn’t effect the functionality of the drop in boards.

But worth noting that it appears units from superchrgers run module firmware that's not compatible with the OI firmware. Id suggest verifying known good revision levels before purchasing. Its a stickied thread in this forum I believe.
