Controlling a Bolt motor...?

With prices for 2017 Bolts in good condition dropping below $15k in the US, using components from one (such as the 360Nm motor and 60kWh pack) is becoming rather attractive.

Has anyone had any success adapting one of these motors yet? Or any other components? Might be time for a Chevy section...

I am sure Lebowski brain with RLS encoder would not have a problem driving one.
The same for openinverter with original resolver.

What would be your flavour of inverter?

Interesting.

I think the ideal inverter would be the Bolt inverter...to avoid the cost of purchasing an inverter! I guess that's more about hacking CAN than open-sourcing the control, though...
