Hi, I'm looking to use my inverter (2000W PSW) for emergency power at home. Without realizing, the unit I just bought doesn't have a post for grounding to earth. Can I ground the system by landing an earth ground onto the inverter negative terminal post? Any thoughts are appreciated. thanks

The negative terminal of the device does not always have a conductive sometimes indirect connection with the body of the product, it is better if the body is metal to use mounting places (holes) to connect the protective ground conductor.
