This time last year I was in Johnson Valley Ca watching the toughest off-road race in the world, I'm following it on YouTube this year, this short piece popped up :

He finished 18th overall in the Everyman Challenge (for privateers) and first in class

I find the conversion space to be quite funny.
We got car guys using kits mostly, and then electrical “engineers” doing full custom inverter control/hack/builds.

The choice of vehicle came about because... it was the guy's truck that finally broke.
They decided to do this back in October. Pretty quick turnaround. 2 months ago they're asking how big batteries and such are.
