Welp. I’m in Canada, about to pickup 2 semiens 1pv motors from the ev Ford rangers from back in the day.

What kw are they? just at the planning stage, I want the boat to plane so need good size motor, I was thinking of 120 Kw. Any ideas on this.

the inverter you choose will determine the power output. But these motors I think can handle 200kw pushed threw them before heat soak

Are you selling one, what price and model no. is it. what inverter would yo recommend.

I’m in Canada, so not sure if worth it to ship.

It’s the classic Siemens ev motor 1PV5133.

I have a gen 3 Prius inverter I’m going to use to drive one.

Looking for 900 Canadian,

they weight about 200lbs.
And it has a reduction gear box still on it.

Hi, the price seems fine , as you said the carriage might be expensive, will check it out, do you know the difference between 1PV5133 and 1PV5135 motors.

From my understanding the face plate, shaft and bearings are different. As it’s built around the gear box. Other than that they are identical.

There’s quite a bit of miss information on these Siemens motors. power ratting, etc.

But the motor may actually weight around 140lbs

Use without the gear box just requires swapping to sealed bearings.
