Quick query, maybe a silly one. I can't manage to get photos attached to my posts. Looks like there are a few others with same issue. I select Attachments - Add File, then select the jpg image to upload, but get the message below in the status to the right and no option to finish the attachment?

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct

Is there a restriction on file types, or am I just missing the obvious!?

Works fine for me -- try downloading the attached file and seeing if it can upload for you?

Wait -- are you linking to an image somewhere else? It is preferred to save the image to your disk and then upload in the forum, that way other websites going down won't photobucket this forum too.

Ugh, story of my forum life. Those clowns keep changing the rules with zero notification.

Sadly I relented and paid them... Then they started making up new plans/rules. They were my phone picture backup until recently I moved everything off there but the forum pictures. Any more detrimental changes and I'll walk away from 15 years of my forum posts. At least two forums I'm a member of cleared out all uploaded photos older than 5 years because of storage space on their servers. Just no winning against the march of time. Shame too because I prefer them over modern social media.

Thanks for the reply. Saved the file to hard drive and it uploads fine here. Saved in the same location as the other jpg's I was trying to upload so not sure what the issue is. The other ones still don't work. Must be a file size. I've been resizing photos down to to reduce file size. Might be that.

Maybe your resize program generated incompatible jpg?
Spacewise we are using 10 GB out of 1 TB. Should take a while to fill that.

Still having issues with the jpegs saved from the phone camera, even when not scaled down. So opening in ms paint and re-saving as a GIF file works instead.
