Solid Red Alive LED

Has any one had their ALIVE LED show solid red? My board has been working fine but suddenly stopped working (no parameters or spot values showing up in web interface), on disassembly both LEDs are showing solid red. Is my STM32 dead?

Just been doing some diagnostics, IC8 (REG117 voltage regulator) had a varying output between 3.62v and 3.75v with the 'alive' LED varying in brightness as the voltage changed. IC8 has now given up completly, the STM32 was very hot to the touch, im guessing it has some tolerence on voltage but maybe not as much as that. I will try to replace IC8 and see if the STM32 has survived. Hopefully it is only IC8 that has failed.
