I have to retire my old PDM DT500 multi meter after many many years it’s just not going to work for me. So as I have had one multimeter for so long, what’s the recommendations. ? I thought I was fairly good at soldering until I recently got a ersa I-con nano and realized how bad my old weller wand was. I can’t find any where that gives suggestions and no ones pics show what you have on your work benches. And that’s what I want to know, like any good mechanic I have snap on spanners but I use my facom’s daily. I want a meter that I can keep
In the car for fault finding but also accurate enough to use on the bench.

I use my Fluke 115 everyday, never will i go back to a none auto ranging meter.

As a test I bought an OWON B35T+, a bluetooth multimeter that also does standalone logging. Having had some expensive meters capable of just that at work it was an indispensable tool for the role I had.
