Not done many updates on this thread so here are a few bullet points :

-CCS fast charging working with i3 LIM
-New production version of ZombieVerter VCU fitted and running.
-Ampera heater running as of today integrated with E46 climate control via vcu.
-10k miles covered.
-Recently drove across ireland and back on CCS (approx 600km). No batt temp issues despite the internet's concern.
-M3 pcs running fine
-Recently got donated a set of E46 330i front brakes so will be a nice upgrade.

Thanks for making it look so easy 😉. As for 270 miles from a zoe pack, that's good news.

Sure has. Even a bit better with a wheel alignment.

A little pictorial update on the Grey Goose. Hauling "house parts" is her main duty these days as I scour the country for bargain bits. Also getting some much needed running gear and brake upgrades and repairs and LOTS of CCS fast charging:)

If you don’t mind me being an efficiency bore again, what sorta winter efficiency is it giving on the motorway?

Does the prop fit? Or is it too long? Is it possible that when that box is used in a 320d the whole engine and box are mounted further forwards? I have seen a guy fit one in an e39 who managed to use a transmission mount from an automatic that lined up with a couple of the holes in the floor and then had to shorten the shifter linkage to suit, a good look through the oem catalogues does really help much

Hmm maybe not the 328 m52 which came with 5spd getrag and the 330i m54 which came with the 6spd zf have the same part numbers of the front engine mountings so looks like engine position must be identical

Went on a rather long voyage on Saturday to strip out a GS450h. 334 miles. 7 CCS fast charges. Only one brand of station refused to communicate with the car. Some uber sexy 350kw Efacec thing that seemed more interested in showing me advertisements on its Tesla size screen than actually charging the car. Almost all motorway at 120kph. The goose just seems to gobble the miles and sip the kwh. 27 euros total cost in fast charges.

Ha... Lidl charger there! You could try that Chademo/CCS + Level 2 combo charging from two sides :).
EDIT: I see you have a combo socket... you should reinstall Level 2 socket to have access to your tesla charger for additional 10kW... 8-)

372 miles , 9 ccs fast charges and an amazing donation of 10 x 250w solar panels from a forum member. The goose yet again prevails over such meager obstacles as having its frontal area doubled :)
