This is my motor. When testing it today with Johannes he found out that its alignment was way more out than on his own motor.

Hello.
I have a Nissan Leaf EM61 engine, the resolver value is 950000 0000
values I set in syncofs 45 000

Looking for some advice as planning to reverse a leaf motor on original inverter.

I can swap the cosine resolver pair and a phase which I think should reverse motor. However I think this will offset the resolver signal by 180 degrees as cosine phase is inverted, which from previous would probably run the motor (but badly?). Also not sure if the error offset also needs to be reversed - so
has anyone tried doing this and did you need to input a new 180+offset value using leafspy? (Or does this all cancel itself out?)

Thanks!

Following this thread. I've been wondering about this too. I haven't heard anything about it being 180 degrees out, but it would be really nice if we could decode these values in order to enter the appropriate reverse offset..

Here is a snippet from the Resolve EV installation manual.

I can vouch for this as I have done it and driven the converted vehicle up to 100k/hr without any propulsion issues.

Thanks, yes I'd seen that one, but it didn't mention whether offsets were considered. In theory it would still work to some degree even if 180 out, do you think power matches expected, get good regen and is it the same performance when in reverse gear?
