Tesla SDU - motor positioning

Hi there,
I've started to make my old T4, whose motor broke a while ago, ready to run for another 25+ years electrically. I am currently fitting the motor (a Tesla front SDU from an 2015-S100D) into the vehicle. The best position would be upright.
I understand however that in the original Tesla S the motor is tilted by some 20-30 degrees or so. What I wonder now is the following: the oil intake for the transmission box is now comparatively a bit lower and thus takes a bit less oil. Would that be a problem?
