Maybe I can try to keep the basic slip calculation and just replace V/f by FOC? Hmm.
I volunteer my Mazda for testbed 😇.
I use gen2 boards modified for Volt inverter. I have Lacrosse ACIM motor here with resolver. I also have straight gen2 inverter in Mazda and it works with AB encoder. So i am able to test both versions. Also if you insist i can make Mazda work with single channel encoder.

Took the car out for a thrashing this morning with the recent upload and did not experience any elastic throttle feel. I could push hard on the regen into a corner and power out with no transition delay.

Just tried it - Elastic has gone - Fantastic.

I've tried adding the Volk mods to the latest software, can somebody test whether I succeeded?

Diff is here: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sin ... e6ac39730a

Is the Volk mods for tesla only, or can I use it on any acim?

Should be applicable to any acim motor as its just a modification of the fweak value at low throttle inputs. Theres a parameter added to adjust. If this function is not desired, then that value just gets set equal to fweak.

Well traction is very good and i am satisfied. But there seem to be no regen present. Not for throttle release or for brake signal. Even though i have it set to -60% in code. Is it possible you changed orientation of your math?

tnx

Maybe try bumping it up more? I noticed the higher fweak did reduce regen, but it was a matter of readjusting parameters for me.

Curious if there was any further feedback on Johu's integration. I have not tried that file since my own setup has been running flawlessly and Im terrified to change anything haha.
