Yes for box. Cooling, not sure, probably not, didn't seem to use it in the van

It's only one battery module held in place by a bungee cord but I needed the motivation boost.

You've solved the DVLA issue of not welding to the chassis. Nothing written about the use of bungees!

Not done a video this week as its just boring battery box stuff, but here's some photos. Will put out a battery box video when there's more to show for it.
The 2 long sides and lid will screw on, the bottom and end 2 panels will be welded on.
Still todo:
Battery Box (obvs)
Battery Box mounting
Move inverter
Mount charger/DCDC
Mount Charge port
Add loads of beef to the transmission mounts.
Radiator mount
Cooling plumbing.
A lot to get done for April
Later to do:
Heat
Air Con

Not updated this thread in a while. Still not finished the battery box, but taken a break from it to start mounting the charge port.
Not sure why the photo is upside down, but the mounting is solid, and it'll need to be with CCS cable weights and it mounted sideways. Need to secure the wiring to the body. There's plenty of space there to mount a UHI/FOCCI so the CP wiring is as short as possible for CCS, but for now, will connect directly to the outlander charger.
So got the battery box in place, I need to redo the front mounting so that it's on rubber engine mounts. Moved the inverter off to the side there and the charger will go in front of the inverter

The wire feed mod has made a big difference

Battery in, inverter in, charger DCDC in. Getting close to the first proper test drive now.
So what's left?
Cooling hoses, pump and radiator need mounting
Low voltage wiring needs finishing
AC cables from charge port to charger needs putting in place.
Should then be usable
Then I need to add heating, air con and CCS.

Very nice. Engine bay looks rather tidy. Not sure how much of a compliment that is coming from me

So car is where I'd call it usable now. Insurance starts on the 24th so stay tuned for the first test drive.

Hi , A Question on your Throttle connections please
Re the Zombie /300h incerter/L210 trans.
Using 2.15a version,
Have been able to reuse existing BMW loom for the dual throttle BMW pedal assembly, but unable to select different from .
...[[single channel..]]....
option on the web interface.
Believe this is also so for 2.17a
Curious to know if you have the dual throttle, working.
Thanks Woodfie

Well done, great progress..and So quiet on the Video, hard to notice the brake pad you mentioned.
Re the throttle,
I have the Dual system wired up now, as in 6 connections made to the BMW throttle assembly.
I can only locate
[ SINGLE CHANNEL ] option
on the page of the Huebrner interface..
Which means, the safety added by the dual system is not functioning.
This still runs the fwd and back direction and response to the throttle position... But in testing the event of the ground failure to " pot " ...... a RUNaway condition occurs to potnom being High .I.E. Not a fail safe Mode.
This is at 30V HV, for trialing, 2.15a version
Wondered if this was the case for you Also...?

I'm on a modified fork from 2.17 and dual pot is there. Pot2 has a much narrower range.

So 200 miles in and a few issues..
HTM from inverter drops out intermittently - not figured this one at yet despite hours on it,
I have a strange noise, appears to be coming from MG1

Is it the whine or the DC brush type noise that you are referring to..

The sort of air raid noise. I've put another transmission in now, so far so good, but only 20 or so miles done.
I changed my MG1 locking from a welded on one, to using a full clutch disc, well not clutch but the thing with the spring mounted splines and bolted that down.
